Sofia Stock Indices Rise, Dronamics Gains Capital in Its Early Years

SOFIA (Bulgaria), Dec.23 (SeeNews) – All stock indexes on the Sofia Stock Exchange closed higher on Thursday, mainly supported by an increase from IoT product developer Allterco [BUL:A4L] and the Bulgarian stock exchange [BUL:BSE], the operator of the exchange, according to the data.

On the SME growth market of the BEAM stock exchange, Dronamics Capital [BUL:DRON], a company linked to Bulgarian cargo drone maker Dronamics, got its start following a successful initial public offering (IPO). Dronamics Capital shares closed at 1.86 lev, above the issue price of 1.10 lev during the IPO held earlier this month, according to exchange data.

The blue chip SOFIX index rose 0.32% to 633.31 points, supported by a 3.42% rise in shares of IoT device developer Allterco. No less than 5,435 shares of the company changed hands at an average price of 23.8765 lev.

A 6.36% gain in the BSE share price supported an increase in the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded stocks on the Sofia Stock Exchange, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. . The BGBX40 closed up 0.52% to 142.59 points, while the BGTR30 rose 0.81% to 680.24 points.

The BGREIT Index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, closed up 0.35% at 164.36 points as the share price of Bulgarian real estate fund REIT rose 1.76% [BUL:BREF].

Total turnover in the main BSE market rose to 18.85 million lev (10.7 million lev / 9.5 million euros) on Thursday, from 16.85 million lev on Wednesday.

The most traded company on Thursday was real estate firm Velgraf Asset Management [BUL:VAM]. A total of 828,720 shares of the company traded flat at an average price of 4.28 lev, contributing 3.55 million lev to the total turnover for the day.

The Sofia Stock Exchange will be closed to trading on December 24, 27 and 28 for the Christmas holidays. It will reopen on December 29.
