Osinbajo to lead discussions at Nigerian capital market conference

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will lead the discussions at the inaugural Nigerian Capital Market Conference scheduled for Tuesday, November 20, 2021. The theme of the event is The Future-Ready Capital Market: Innovating for Nigeria’s Sustainable Recovery.

The Hybrid Roundtable is hosted by the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), with the onsite event set for Transcorp Hilton, Abuja and online participants to join via Zoom and YouTube by registering at https://bit.ly / ngx-cmc2021.

The main topics that will be discussed at the conference include Stimulate the recovery of the capital market through political advocacy; Driving the government’s economic growth plans using the capital market; and The role of the private sector in capital market growth.

These topics would be dissected by policy makers, governments, financial experts, business leaders, investors, international development partners, regulators and other market players.

Speaking on the conference, NGX Chairman, Mr. Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud, said that “the Nigerian capital market occupies a critical position in the economic growth and development of Nigeria and Africa.
