Colinton Capital Partners advised as lead investor in Moneytech’s $25 million fundraising.

Deal: The private equity and private equity team at Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) advised Colinton Capital Partners as lead investor in Moneytech’s fundraising.

Region: Capital raising.

Key players: The team was led by Partner and Co-Head of Venture Capital Clayton James, along with Co-Head of Venture Capital (Australia) Elizabeth Henderson, Partner and Senior Advisor Mark Rigotti, Senior Partner Calvin Shaw and attorney Shonie Kaushik.

The team was supported by partner Nikki Smythe, head of the Australian banking regulatory team Tony Coburn, and lawyers Darran Devlin and Anjelica Balis.

Significance of agreement: Moneytech is an end-to-end financial services provider in the non-bank market, offering corporate finance and payment services through its proprietary technology.
